These notes are for quick informational purposes for residents and do not reflect the minutes of the Board meeting. Those minutes, once approved and available, are posted as a file at the left below the pool graphic.
All complaints must be written. The most effective method is to use this website's comment feature on the "Board Contact Form" page. Alternatively, a writing provided to Creative or a hand written document given to a board member are acceptable. Verbal complaints to an individual board member can not be acted upon.
December 2010
Mark Deaton has resigned from the Board as President because he sold his unit. The Board will soon choose a replacement member and vote on elected roles. As soon as a quorum is obtained at an Annual Meeting, all Board positions will be voted. Until a quorum is reached, the Board must continue to appoint members as positions become available in accordance with the governing documents. These documents are available for review on the Resources page. As Mark was the webmaster, website updates may be limited until a new webmaster is identified.

Access to website updating was hampered by software problem. Problem now resolved.
Early February 2010
The Annual Homeowner's Association Meeting will be held on March 24, 2010 at the Bellaire United Methodist Church at the corner of Bellaire and Newcastle in the Fellowship Hall. Pre-meeting notices go out shortly, Flyers will be distributed and Notices and Proxy cards go out about 30 days prior to the meeting per association rules.
It is imperative that we have a quorum for this year's meeting as all Board positions are up for election and the Board strongly desires to have an election. Please attend or sign a proxy!
If you desire to serve as a Board Member, please contact Creative Management or use the Board Contact Form on this website for more information. You will be asked later to provide any information you would like for the homeowners to consider in support of your election.
January 2010
No meeting was held in December because of the holiday. January meeting was delayed because of MLK Day.
The Board received the 2009 audit and it was determined that the budget was in compliance with standards for non-profit community associations. As soon as the meeting minutes are approved, they will be posted at left.
November 2009
The video system is operational and we have a new vendor, Johnson Controls, who will be maintaining it.
Board member Lori Godwin has resigned her board position and owner/resident Joanna Stern was appointed by the Board to fill this position pending election of Board members at the next annual meeting.
Elections were held at the October meeting and two positions shifted.

October 2009
The meeting will occur at the Looscan Library again this month. Upstairs in the small conference room, bring a sweater as the room is chilly (but free). The room is to the left of the elevator, down the short hall.

Thanks for the understanding on the updates from the July meeting. The majority of larger July issues are reflected on the August 1st update of the Hot Topics page if any homeowner desires to reference them.
August minutes will be posted once approved. July minutes will be posted when received from Creative.

The meeting update will be delayed this month. As website manager, I am completely swamped with preparation for a state licensing exam and am unable, until after the exam, to post an update. Thanks for understanding.

The Board has received anonymous threatening and derogatory comments from a single unidentified homeowner or resident through this website and the US Mail. Both of these things are crimes. Identification of this individual is an interest of the Board.
It must be remembered that your Board members are uncompensated servants of the community. Disagreements are to be expected. However, lurking in the shadows and making anonymous derogatory comments reflects the lack of integrity of the author.
All comments left on this website that attempt to conceal the author's identity will be deleted without anyone reading the content of the message.
The Board remains commited to addressing legitimate community concerns that are expressed openly and with attribution.
June 2009
Beginning with the June Board Meeting, meetings will no longer be held in Unit 508. Meetings will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, Sun Parlor. Parking on site.

Stan Hill left the Board as President at the end of May. We are grateful to Stan for his service and fiduciary stewardship which has allowed us weather the current economic recessionary period well.
Lori Godwin joined the Board at the conclusion of the June meeting. Elections for positions were held. Results are:

The Catwalk from the garage to building 4639 will be replaced over a one week period beginning with the weekend of June 20th. All other catwalks will be sanded and repainted to remove rust. The damage to the 4639 catwalk was too great to avoid replacement.
May 2009
At the April Board Meeting, Member Bob Pffefer resigned and the Board appointed Mark Deaton to replace him until a General Election is held.
